REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 3+ Years of experience as a Landscape Construction Foreman.
- Minimum 5yrs Landscaping/Hardscaping industry experience
- 5+ Years of experience operating a skid steer or excavator.
- Experience in lighting and irrigation installations is an asset.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Extensive knowledge of all landscape construction installation practices.
- Good understanding of setting grades and heights with a laser level.
- Confident in building all types of retaining walls & stone patios.
- Above average ability to operate a skid steer or excavator.
- Clear understanding and management of time per task expectations.
- Detail oriented, and a quality focused way of thinking.
- Ability to manage up to 4 crew members efficiently.
- Ability to drive truck and trailer competently.
- Clean driving record
Responsibilities:
- Effectively direct and instruct crew members in completion of daily goals.
- Read and understand landscape plans
- Work with clients throughout the job to ensure an excellent customer experience
- Hands on installation of stone walkways, patios, steps, and walls.
- Complete a daily job progress report and communicate any foreseeable obstacles to your Project Manager
- Measure and pick up materials as needed
- Assist in the development of individual crew member skill set.
- Lead by example and take full accountability of your decisions.
