POSITION OVERVIEW:
As the Landscape Maintenance Foreman at Atkinson Landscaping, you will be the driving force behind our field operations. You’ll oversee and coordinate daily activities, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. We are looking for a professional who combines extensive landscaping knowledge with strong leadership skills and a commitment to outstanding client service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in landscape maintenance, with a proven track record in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques.
- Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly, ensuring high-quality results.
- Driver’s License: Valid BC driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as a pesticide applicator’s license, are advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and direct the landscape maintenance crew, ensuring tasks are executed effectively and efficiently.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct site inspections to monitor work quality, address any issues, and implement solutions to maintain high standards.
- Equipment Oversight: Maintain and manage landscaping equipment and tools, performing repairs as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Training and Development: Mentor team members, provide training, and foster a positive work environment to enhance team skills and performance.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of work performed, including time sheets, job reports, and other relevant documentation.
