Description:

We seek an experienced Business Developer who is independent and driven, to help us aggressively expand our business in the property management market in the DMV. This individual will work closely with the Account Management team of PCM Services and will report to the Vice President of Exteriors. The position will develop strategy, tactics, and knowledge to uncover and expand our Landscape business.

  • Minimum of 5 years of business development experience within the landscape industry.
  • Superior time management skills and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, ZoomInfo, SalesLoft, and Microsoft Suite.
  • Must have a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities:

  • Aggressively grow our landscape business in the property management market.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting specific companies and desirable properties within the landscape sector.
  • Identify, qualify, and prioritize sales opportunities, leading all aspects of the landscape sales process.
  • Build and present client-centric solutions and value-based proposals based on client needs using solution-based selling techniques.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings through strong communication and proactive service recommendations.
  • Conduct customer research within assigned strategic markets and assist in weekly sales campaigns.
  • Execute outbound prospecting techniques to qualify leads and consistently hit and exceed monthly goals.
  • Generate and maintain a credible forecast for accounts, providing this information regularly to Senior Management.
  • Consistently use Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and SalesLoft to track and monitor sales activities and manage the pipeline.
  • Attend networking functions, expos, and association committees to gain market exposure and identify new opportunities.
  • Foster relationships with key decision-makers, discovering their pain points and developing value-based solutions.
  • Demonstrate commitment to teamwork, providing leadership and mentoring to less experienced team members.
  • Participate in networking and entertainment opportunities to promote PCM Services.
