*WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WITH DURING THE DAY (BETWEEN 9AM-2:30PM) AND AFTERSCHOOL AVAILABILITY (BETWEEN 2:30PM-7:00PM)*

Behaviour Interventionist: 1:1 in-home educator providing behaviour and academic support for children with exceptionalities such as an Autism Diagnosis and ADHD.

FIVE Behaviour and Education are recruiting Interventionists to provide one to one intensive behavioural therapy based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis for children and youth with a diagnosis of Autism and another related diagnosis. Behaviour Interventionists will follow individualized programs created by a multidisciplinary team of clinicians including Behaviour Consultants, Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists in the family home or out in the community. We providing training!

All staff who have at least 4hrs of work per week will be eligible and opted into our Mental Health Wellness Platform, Dialogue, which provides staff support in and access to Primary Care, Mental Health, Wellness support, and Family & Relationship.
We are hiring for Victoria, Sooke, Sidney, Langford (& Westshore area) and Cowichan Valley!!

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Have a post-secondary education in a related field; Psychology, ECE, Child and Youth Care, Special Education Assistant (asset)
• At least 6 months of previous experience with children or youth with diverse abilities.
• First aid or willingness to obtain.
• Clear criminal record check.
• NVCIP or MANDT training or willingness to obtain.
• Valid BC Drivers License
• Willingness to have or upgrade to “Business Use” car insurance & $3,000,000 Third-Party Liability Insurance
  Job Type: Part-time
  Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
