We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Language Analyst who will work closely with both customers and our production team.
Please note that Localization experience is essential to this role. We will NOT be accepting applications unless there is proven experience.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in translation or linguistic-related studies
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar function
  • Fluent English
  • Stress resistance and ability to work under pressure
  • Assertiveness and decisiveness
  • Excellent communication skills, at all levels of seniority in the company and with the customer
  • Predisposition at taking initiative
  • Results-oriented way of working
  • Analytical approach
  • Deep knowledge of terminology management concepts and best practices
  • Data analysis and presentation skills
  • Extensive user of Windows desktop, email, Office apps and file management applications
  • Knowledge of software localization and CAT tools and techniques
  • Team-worker with good interpersonal skills, open to change and enthusiastic about new technologies
  • SEO, Computational Linguistics, AI knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities:

The Language Analyst works closely with the Program Manager to grow strategic accounts, adding value to strategic customers through language expertise and making sure that for all languages in scope, the approach to all linguistic aspects is consistent and efficient. The Language Analyst is also responsible for quality monitoring, analysis and account improvement initiatives.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Language Analyst, dedicated to supporting a complex and challenging account. This role requires exceptional client-facing communication skills, an analytical mindset, critical thinking, decisiveness, and a results-oriented approach. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating complex, fast-paced environments and managing relationships with professionalism and poise. Key responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the best linguistic processes for each strategic account the Language Analyst is responsible for.
  • Make data-based decisions based on analysis of quality, production & productivity data.
  • Own terminology management strategy, create/maintain glossaries and style guides
  • Train and support Language Leads, defining their role and tasks and making sure they are used properly, and they know their tasks.
  • Act as point of contact for clients to address linguistic feedback.
  • Provide all necessary instructions, information about customer requirements, linguistic resources (terminology, style guide, query logs, etc.) to external language resources at project level and more generally, to make sure all linguists are familiar with the account and what they need to do to ensure quality.
  • Analyse the source content of new projects, thus being able to define the translation instructions and process.
  • Troubleshoot linguistic issues.
  • Set the language quality standards of localization tasks for all linguists.
  • Assess and/or manage and control the language quality of all linguists, using our proprietary editing platform, WordsOnline, or other quality assurance tools, and define processes to react to poor quality.
  • Document all linguistic processes and exceptions to processes as part of the general project documentation.
  • Cooperate closely with Talent Finders and Resource Managers to ensure that external resources execute according to the required quality standards and attend status meetings with external resources. Support Procurement in implementing recruiting strategies for maintaining quality through recruiting the right linguists.
  • Be in direct contact with strategic customers to understand their requirement, suggest process improvement or solutions, attend meetings with quality stakeholders if needed, review performance, keep them informed about quality.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities at a project and company level with a particular regard to language tasks and quality.
  • Establish systems for systemically gathering quality data for the accounts they are assigned to, to get accessible quality data for all language pairs and content types.
  • Assess completed projects and review linguistic processes to increase efficiency, reduce

costs and shorten deadlines.
