Description:

Job Summary:
As a Language and Talent Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing organizational capabilities through the development and delivery of training programs focused on English communication and business English. You will demonstrate high standards of English teaching methodology, fostering communication to improve client interaction. Additionally, you will design, implement, and manage talent development programs to enhance the skills, knowledge, and capabilities of our workforce, collaborating with key stakeholders to align training initiatives with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Design language learning syllabi using an eclectic approach which will be focused on improved client communication.
  • Creates strategic lesson plans/unit plans based on instructional objectives grouped in the 5 skills and multiple intelligence theories for English or any other required skills.
  • Maps general language principles and guidelines for learners to have a better understanding of how to improve their language skills.
  • Conducts needs analysis for specific language learning objectives (based on each line of business) or any additional talent program/training.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent development and incorporate them into program design and delivery.
  • Devise, write, and produce new materials, including audio and visual resources.
  • Utilize a variety of learning modalities and technologies to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences, including e-learning modules, workshops, seminars, and coaching sessions.
  • Creates methods of monitoring and evaluating each lesson plan (set performance criteria & assessments).
  • Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback to determine the effectiveness of training and learners’ knowledge.
  • Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in English training, Talent and development programs, trends, and new methodologies.
  • Reports student progress.
  • Maintains a learning environment in the classroom and manages resources accordingly.
  • Conducts quality analysis and provides recommendations to trainees as to know to continue to improve their skills.
  • Leads regular English calibration sessions with the Recruitment and Sourcing Team to ensure that employees meet the required competencies in communication skills.
  • Supports any other learning programs or training initiatives as needed.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure alignment between talent development initiatives and other HR programs and processes.

Skills and Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in English teaching, training, development programs, and lesson planning.
  • Pedagogical skills and a Bachelor’s degree in Modern languages, teaching, psychology, or related fields.
  • TESOL, TEFL, or similar certificates are a plus.
  • Excellent English oral communication and writing skills (C1 certified with IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent).
  • Strong discipline, focus, organization, and attention to detail, especially when working independently.
  • Experience in educational material design (presentations, virtual, hands-on/experiential, instructor-led, remote classroom, workshops, etc.), Zoom and Teams tools, and online teaching.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to effectively work within all levels of the organization and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong presentation and project management skills, with technical aptitude to quickly learn new technologies.
  • Ability to manage through ambiguity and adapt effectively to change in a fast-paced environment (VUCA).
  • Excellent time management.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred.
  • General knowledge of business etiquette and compliance, coupled with customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in managing data and demonstrated effectiveness in a fast-paced, change-oriented work environment.
