Job Description
The LATAM Market Access Development Program at AbbVie is an exciting opportunity for recent MBA graduates who are passionate about understanding the healthcare landscape and the intricacies of market access strategies. This rotational program offers in-depth exposure to various aspects of market access, including value proposition strategy, health economics and outcomes research, pricing, reimbursement, tenders & bids and stakeholder engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Public Health, or a related field on top schools with high GPAs.
  • MBA (International MBA preferred)
  • Any kind of past professional experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data interpretation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills through internships, academic projects, or extracurricular activities.
  • Willingness to relocate for program rotations, if required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Internship experience in market access, pricing strategy, or health economics within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
  • Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement processes and market access frameworks.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a structured rotational program across key market access functions, including pricing strategy, health economics, and policy analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement market access strategies for new and existing products.
  • Analyze market trends, healthcare policies, and payer dynamics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of value dossiers, health technology assessments, and payer presentations.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand market needs and challenges.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
