Description:
Use your expertise in energy data and policy analysis to advance the clean energy transition in Latin America
Ember is recruiting an energy data and policy analyst based in Latin America to join our international team.
With a presence in 16 countries worldwide, Ember’s data and policy analysis is already helping to drive forward the clean energy transition globally and in specific regions. We now want to begin building a team focussing on and based in Latin America.
Working in partnership with local organisations and/or experts, you will generate insightful analyses that will make a compelling case for clean energy in a number of specific countries in the region. Together with Ember’s communications and data visualisation teams and local partners, you will ensure your analyses gain the attention and interest of decision-makers.
You will have several years of experience in energy data and policy analysis, and understand the Latin American context well. You will either have, or demonstrate a good capacity to generate and work with, a network of clean energy contacts across the region. You will be based in the region, and be a native-level Spanish speaker as well as speaking English to working level (knowledge of Portuguese would be a bonus).
