Ferring+You
You will play a crucial role in preparing the organization for the launch of the company’s future products. It requires strong cross-functional collaboration throughout the organizational matrix working with commercial, functional leaders, and countries to drive the creation, adoption, and execution of a launch best practice that will serve as the foundation for a best-in-class launch. The job holder will develop the strategy, execution plans, and KPIs for relevant workstreams within the launch plan and ensure the roll-out and training in the countries and with business partners.

Your day at Ferring

  • In collaboration with Due Diligence and Finance, lead the commercial aspects of business development due diligence projects. Handle objections by clarifying, Create, advance, and adjust strategic and fully integrated launch plans –Serve as a launch excellence subject matter expert to proactively identify, resolve, and prevent road blocks and achieve a best-in-class launch.
  • Partner with leaders across the organization in the development of strategy, execution plans, and KPIs to shape the brand platform through the various phases of launch preparation. In areas where leads are not yet hired/vacant, step in as project management interim lead in the launch countries where appropriate.
  • Coordinate agency pitches, selection, and onboarding; serve as short term agency contact when subject matter expert functional leaders are not in place; ensure alignment between all agency partners.
  • Own the launch readiness tracker, launch dashboard, and other tools used to monitor progress; Facilitate launch team meetings ensuring alignment and accountability between cross functional workstreams; Represent the business at leadership and governance meetings
  • Serve as the commercial lead for launch planning; collaborate with cross-functional leaders and facilitate decision making to ensure optimal meeting execution. Develop governance for the launch workstreams.
  • Forecast and manage launch budget expenses. Develop and manage expenses for all upstream and downstream expenses associated with the launch.

We are looking for a leader and “doer” who is savvy to launch and implement.

  • Bachelor’s degree with major in marketing or related area required, MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of marketing/commercial experience within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry required.
  • Experience leading pharmaceutical launches. Demonstrable brand management, launch planning, strategic and operational planning and delivery, and project management skills.
  • Solid understanding of today’s pharmaceutical environment, incl. Market Access, Distribution Clinical, Regulatory, Legal and Compliance required.
  • Exceptional project management, marketing, analytics, customer insights and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proven track record of effectively and efficiently driving performance and influencing within a matrix organization. Strong ability to build alignment and collaborative working relationships.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Solid financial acumen and experience.
  • Innovative approach with self-motivation and resilience.
