The Position
The Kaiseraugst production site is a cornerstone of Roche’s global production and logistics network. Over 1900 people are employed here and the site is home to Roche’s largest and most innovative packaging operation in the world. Parenteral Launches and New Technology Stream (PLANTS) is responsible for Introduction of New Products (Technical transfers) and Implementation of New Technologies on our manufacturing site in Kaiseraugst.
The Launch Lead in the PLANT organization is an individual contributor position, which serves as a project lead for new product launches, site to site transfers, CAPEX projects, technical investments, divestments and other projects.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Profound relevant bio/pharmaceutical experience, including significant cross-functional group management, ideally in manufacturing and implementation of CAPEX projects, with a BS/BA degree in life sciences, engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Strategic and systems thinker with a compliance focus, anticipating technology trends and driving execution.
- Demonstrates creative leadership skills as a Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, and Coach (VACC), removing barriers, developing people and technical capabilities, and crafting an environment for high performance.
- Navigates and influences global PT and Roche cultures, embracing agile ways of working and using LPS tools and methodology, building networks and collaborating with senior-level partners.
- Possesses outstanding business and financial competence, mentoring others in developing business cases, and understanding manufacturing and research drivers to build future infrastructure.
- Solution-oriented and can-do attitude, encouraging organizational success with a new mindset.
