JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry services are performed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our facility, contributing to an exceptional experience for our guests or clients.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical stamina; must be able to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.

• Operate washing machines and dryers, ensuring proper loading and unloading of laundry items.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, and clothing according to established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including regular cleaning of machines and work surfaces.
• Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Handle delicate fabrics with care, following specific washing instructions to prevent damage.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Assist in training new staff members on laundry procedures and equipment usage as required.
