JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute significantly to the overall guest experience in our hotel environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role within a hotel or similar setting is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with laundering techniques and cleaning products is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and quality assurance.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and ironing machines efficiently and safely.
  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and garments according to established procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Inspect items for stains or damage before washing; treat stains as necessary.
  • Ensure that all laundry is completed in a timely manner to meet operational needs.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management promptly.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations while performing laundry duties.
