Description:
To be responsible for ensuring that staff are trained in the correct use of all laundry processing equipment and that all bedding and linen is processed in accordance with its requirements and in line with relevant legislation and HTM 01-04. To lead the Laundry staff, to include but not exclusive: appraisals, attendance, booking of bank staff, sickness / absence records through the use of the Trust Policies, SOPs and databases. To assist in maintaining adequate staffing levels by co-ordinating and producing staff duties/rosters, ensuring that any staff absence is covered. To monitor the staff performance, ensuring laundering standards are maintained
