We have an exciting opportunity for a Law Graduate to join our Commercial Insurance (Professional Indemnity) team in Brisbane working for David Kerwin.

About the team and the work

• The team has extensive experience in all major lines of insurance, litigation, regulatory investigations and claims against directors and officers, financial institutions and professionals particularly in the financial and construction sectors.
• Clients include major Australian and London market insurers, brokers and underwriters as well as multinational and national policy holders / insureds – including SMEs. He also acts for businesses and high net worth individuals in commercial disputes.
• You will be responsible for assisting senior lawyers with investigations into matters, liaison with key stakeholders, advisory work, report and advice writing, undertaking key stages in formal litigation, file management and matter progression.
• You will have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from leading Australian insurance lawyers in a high performing, supportive and collaborative team environment.

About you

• You will have previous Paralegal experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
• You will have graduated and be able to start as a full-time graduate from February 2025.
