KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in Swiss law and admission to the Swiss Bar.
• Proven experience in corporate law and compliance, with a solid understanding of Swiss regulations.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency and blockchain regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of legal processes.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering results.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous legal experience within the cryptocurrency industry.
• In-depth knowledge of evolving crypto regulations and their impact on financial markets.

ROLE SUMMARY:

The successful candidate will take on a key role in supporting the company’s legal department, overseeing corporate, regulatory, and contractual matters. The role also includes leading the process for obtaining a FINMA asset management license, and managing all compliance processes to ensure full alignment with Swiss regulations. This position is ideal for someone with a background in compliance and Swiss law, who thrives in a fast-paced environment while ensuring adherence to legal standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide legal expertise on compliance, corporate governance, and contract negotiations.
• Lead efforts to secure an asset management license from FINMA.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various legal agreements and documents.
• Develop and implement internal regulatory and compliance strategies.
• Supervise and streamline compliance processes to meet Swiss regulatory standards.
• Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with Swiss laws and relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve legal issues and provide strategic advice.
• Ensure compliance with investment restrictions and regulatory frameworks.
• Provide training and guidance on regulatory compliance to internal teams.
• Proactively identify and report potential compliance issues, collaborating with teams to address them.
