QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Law degree from an accredited Australian, North American, or European university
- Admission to practice in Australia
- 2 to 4 years of legal experience, preferably with exposure to technology, engineering, or manufacturing sectors
- Interest in intellectual property (IP), export controls, and employment law, with a global perspective.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
The company is seeking a Lawyer with relevant experience to join the team in Sydney, NSW. This is a newly created position will report to the General Counsel.
RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS
- Draft and review a variety of contracts, including technology, engineering, manufacturing, and procurement agreements
- Assist in legal matters related to intellectual property, export controls, and employment law, collaborating with the General Counsel and outside legal counsel as needed
- Support in the development and maintenance of corporate policies
- Conduct legal due diligence for potential mergers and acquisitions.
