ABOUT YOU
This is a junior role within the team and we are looking for recently admitted lawyers who have ideally had experience in litigation and/or restructuring and insolvency. Most importantly you will have strong academics and be looking to pursue a career in this area of law. Furthermore you will be a highly motivated and well organised practitioner, an excellent communicator and enjoy working with some autonomy whilst being part of a very collegiate team where you can focus on high quality work and continue to grow your career.

Responsibilities:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Lawyer to join our Restructuring and Insolvency practice, working alongside Partners Marelda Hibberd, Danielle Funston and Sam Kingston. This role will include advising on a wide range of bankruptcy, corporate insolvency, securities enforcement and commercial litigation matters.
Working on behalf of insolvency practitioners, secured lenders, directors and creditors, you will provide advice on all aspects of restructuring and external administrations, including asset realisation and court proceedings commenced as a result of a company’s insolvency. You will also have the opportunity to act on behalf of banks and secured creditors in recovery of corporate and commercial debts.
