• As a Lawyer in Liverpool City Council, you will provide legal advice and representation in areas of law of relevance to the Council including information governance and public law challenges to decisions
• Within the role as a lawyer will have personal responsibility for a varied caseload, and act as a subject expert in planning, highways & licensing law, with appropriate support and supervision from a Senior Lawyer or Head of Law
• As a lawyer you will lead and develop a team of Legal Assistants where required
• You will contribute to the supervision and development of Trainee Lawyers in the team
• The role of Lawyer reports to the Senior Lawyer for the discipline
• You will work collaboratively within your team and the service to meet deadlines and achieve target
