ANDRITZ is seeking a dynamic Layout/Plant Engineer to support our entry into the Power-to-X market. In this role, you will take care about essential engineering tasks for our green hydrogen and renewable fuel solutions. We are looking for a professional with wealthy experience in plant engineering and layout design. IN YOUR PERSONAL SKILL SET, YOU HAE

  • Degree leel qualification in a mechanical engineering discipline.
  • Minimum three years of experience in plant layout or machine engineering, background within the petrochemical industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge about 3D CAD programs, Aea E3D or Autocad Inentor is a plus.
  • Knowledge about ISO/EN standard, additional knowledge about US standards is a plus.
  • Ability to consult with customers and notified bodies about technical design requirements is expected.
  • Explain design solutions in an engaging manner
  • Experience to perform acceptance tests and to superise the installation during start-up
  • Strong communication, analytical and planning skills
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to trael for 3 days per month on aerage

Responsibilities:

  • Create 3D plant layouts and equipment designs in coordination with the project teams
  • Reiew and release of designs under consideration of contractual and internal requirements
  • Close collaboration with colleagues in other departments and locations
  • Coordinate the delierables with other releant disciplines (electrical, automation, ciil, etc.)
  • Work closely with project management and disciplines such as piping, process, static and rotating equipment, electrical and automation at the proposal and engineering phase
  • Participate in safety ealuations and the preparation of installation procedures
  • Optimize and deelop new design concepts and integrated solutions in collaboration with process engineering and R&D
  • Take the responsibility to coordinate mechanical engineering tasks within projects depending on your experience
