PROGRAM SUMMARY
KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled HR professional with three to five years of experience to join our team in Poland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive local HR support, managing recruitment processes, ensuring compliance with labor laws, facilitating smooth onboarding procedures, and possessing a solid understanding of payroll processes. This role is critical in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring the organization adheres to legal regulations while effectively managing its human capital.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a central point of contact for all HR-related inquiries from employees, management and Polish government agencies.
- Provide guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Stay updated on relevant labor laws and regulations in Poland.
- Ensure company policies and practices are in compliance with local labor laws.
- Advise management on labor law matters and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing necessary documentation, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring smooth integration into the organization.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure new hires have access to necessary resources and information.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Understand payroll processes, including deductions, taxes, and benefits, to effectively address employee inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues.
- Audit payroll data regularly to identify and correct discrepancies.
- This position is under the local Poland payroll, and candidates must be Polish citizen.
