COUNTER MANAGER

Founded in 2006, Le Labo is a New York–based perfume house that has become iconic for its collection of handmade perfumes and home scents available in a limited number of stores and labs around the world. Le Labo composes with some of the world’s most creative and talented perfumers and uses only the highest quality raw ingredients.
We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational Counter Manager to lead, coach and develop our team of Fragrance Specialists to achieve sales, customer service and operational targets. If you enjoy having total accountability for managing an agile business plan and recruiting & retaining customers through superior customer relationship management & strategic targeting, then this could be the perfect role for you.
Our stores are designed as an entertainment park for the nose, where people can take the time to smell and touch raw ingredients to trigger their emotions. As Counter Manager, you will bring this in-store experience to life through your flair for business planning and leadership of a high performing team.
You will also be accountable for the smooth running of the counter and ensure all your team are aligned in the Brand vision. The Counter Manager role also requires for you to coach and inspire your team, ensuring development and allowing them to exceed their KPIs, as well as your own.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • ABOUT YOUYou will have:
  • Proven retail management/assistant retail management experience preferably within Beauty or a fast-paced retail environment
  • Experience setting sales and customer service targets, sales analysis and staff scheduling.
  • Previous retail operations experience including inventory and facilities management and cash reconciliation.
  • Proven track record of leading, coaching and developing a team to succeed.
  • Experience of creating and executing in-store events.
  • Flexible availability across days/hours. We want all of our team to have a good work-life balance, please discuss your availability further with the hiring manager before/during the interview.
  • A proficient skill level using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proof of right to live and work in the country.
