Description:
We are recruiting for a Lead Allergy Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS)within the chest and allergy service.
Our dynamic Allergy CNS Team provides outpatient services across the Trust. We currently have an established service where this post provides clinical activity within Allergy, as well as management of the chest clinic and Allergy CNS Team. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic nurse who is passionate and has an innovative approach to patient care delivery to support forward development and improve our allergy services.
The successful candidate will have significant post registration in Allergy and be highly skilled in assessment and management of this patient cohort. You will work closely with the allergy consultants; will be responsible for providing nurse led allergy clinics and work in collaboration with the existing respiratory specialist nursing team and wider Multi Disciplinary Team (MDT )in developing the chest clinic and allergy services across the trust. This will include working cross-site and providing cross cover for other colleagues as needed.
As part of your role, you will need to effectively engage with clinical staff, peer groups and service users, to provide a high level of service.
You will directly and indirectly influence all aspects of care delivery and management of the service facilitating a positive and seamless patient pathway, ensuring the patient experience and clinical outcomes are maintained and improved at every opportunity.
With effectual leadership and organisational skills, you will demonstrate the ability to work effectively both autonomously and as a member of the Multi-professional team.
