What you will be doing
We have an exciting Lead Analyst role in our Business Insights Team! The role involves managing a team of 6 analysts to deliver high-quality reports and insights. This is a newly created position, so the chosen candidate will have the opportunity to take the role in their own direction.
We are looking for proven expertise in data analytics and demonstrable experience managing analysts. The ideal candidate would have data visualisation experience and be comfortable implementing best practises.
You will be collaborating with stakeholders across a range of business functions, ensuring their needs are met. You will foster a collaborative team environment while providing support and guidance to your analysts.
There will be an element of travel in this role as part of the induction process, and a requirement to attend quarterly meetings at different sites.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Managing a team of analysts (6)
• Manage and maintain a suite of reports
• Working with key stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
• Ensuring accurate and timely report delivery
• Continuously improving work practices
• Utilising data visualisation software for reporting
• Producing high quality data analysis
• Ability to present findings back to stakeholders for informed decision-making
• Collaborating with product owners to delegate work effectively
• Conducting detailed analyses of KPIs, market trends, customer behaviour, etc.
• Providing data-driven commentary to identify growth opportunities

What your background should look like

We would value the following attributes:

• Proven experience in managing / developing people
• Highly proficiency in data analysis and data manipulation
• Experience in data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI)
• Excellent Microsoft Excel
• Understanding business intelligence concepts
• Strong analytical skills with complex datasets
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Previous experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles
• Familiarity with SQL or database querying
• Relevant industry background (FMCG or Pharmaceutical industry)
• Exposure to project management applications such as Jira, DevOps (ADO)
