Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Lead Analyst, Pricing Operations to join our Pricing Strategy team located in Warsaw, IN; West Chester, PA; Raritan, NJ; or Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Reporting to the Director, Contract Strategy and Pricing, Johnson and Johnson Medtech-Orthopedics, the lead analyst will play a key role in developing and orchestrating consistent execution of commercial price and product changes within US Johnson and Johnson Medtech-Orthopedics through process excellence. These responsibilities will help ensure that approved products – both new products and those with updates and / or changes – are available to be contracted and sold in a timely and efficient manner. This individual should possess a combination of skills in process excellence, cross-functional teamwork, commercial system acumen, and analytics.
They will work to lead cross functional teams from Marketing, Sales, SCG Pricing & Contracting, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, and others to implement key commercial initiatives with responsibility in the following areas:
- Develop and maintain business process documentation for pricing implementation around New Product Introductions (NPIs), Annual List Price and / or product changes
- Organize cross-functional teams from R&D, marketing, and SCG pricing to understand common failure modes in pricing processes, and find opportunities for process improvement
- Work with each system lead across DPS Business Units to understand requirements for timing, updates, and approvals. Establish consistent governance, process, and metrics to confirm product updates are timely and accurate in each Platform Systems through to ICS
- Coordinate key players in DPS marketing roles to understand pricing strategy for product pricing changes, annual list price changes and NPIs. Collaborate with SCG and Global Pricing for CPC approvals
- Work with Product Hierarchy owners to understand implications of changes. Register Franchise Price Group Codes (FPGC) for products within MDM
- Assist with new product hierarchy system implementation and associated process improvements.
- Participate in new product launch teams where pricing and system data are key outputs
- Coordinate with SCG and Commercial teams on product lifecycle and any changes needed for pricing and product data to complete lifecycle management
- Assist in construct creation from a strategy and execution standpoint (ProPak/Constructs)
- Coordinate the approvals in marketing for Windchill and other systems
- Own Product Hierarchy Manager and Construct Manager to approve and execute products and the constructs from a systems standpoint
- Monthly, need to confirm process for marketing to sign off that any changes made are verified -> ensure coordination of SOX compliance marketing approvals, driving process consistency across platforms
- Establish consistent process, roles, and responsibilities for list price implementation (annually or as the need arises) – completion of strategy and data for system loading, system team coordination, file loading, confirmation that products are successfully loaded into each system
- List price implementation communication:
- Communication with SCG team, Sales, Customers
- DD, CM, Govt contracting
- Instruments
- Policy Management – annual approval
- Customer Communication
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4-6 years total combined experience in pricing, contracting, finance, and / or process management in a regulated environment
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required
- Experience in business process improvement including use of commercial IT systems is preferred
- Established interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently, prioritize, and make decisions in an ambiguous and complex environment are required
- A consistent record of working in a remote matrix environment where a high degree of collaboration is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate business situations clearly and accurately, and to address and resolve issues by communicating difficult information in a professional manner are required
- Ability to research and analyze issues and identify options to resolve problems quickly and compliantly
- Ability to form strong, trust-based relationships with Marketing, Sales, Pricing, Deal Desk, Contract Strategy, and other functions
- Up to 10% travel
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $90,000 to $144,900. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

- Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year
- Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
