Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of SAS experience
  • 3+ years of SQL experience
  • 1+ year of Teradata and/or Oracle experience
  • Experience in gathering, analyzing and interpreting large datasets.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience.
  • Experience in gathering, analyzing and interpreting large datasets.
  • Ability to quickly learn business operations and processes.
  • Ability to translate business needs into complex analysis designs and recommendations.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and achieve goals in a dynamic and complex environment.

Responsibilities:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant in the Customer Excellence Data & Analytics Team, supporting complaints reporting.
Primary responsibilities for this role include utilizing database knowledge and business process to analyze and report complaint populations while adhering to proper documentation procedures.

In this role, you will:

  • Advise line of business and companywide functions on business strategies based on research of performance metrics, trends in population distributions, and other complex data analysis to maximize profits and asset growth and minimize operating losses within risk and other operating standards.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed.
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor to staff, interns and external contractors.
  • Ensure integrity of analyses through rigorous attention to detail and validation of data
  • Ensure adherence to all compliance and risk policies and procedures.
  • Utilize multiple tools for Data Processes/ETL (SAS/SQL), Business Intelligence (Tableau, ThoughtSpot) to perform Analytics (SAS/Python)
