Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global organisation as a Lead BI and Analytics Engineer - on a contract basis. The role is hybrid to be based in Dublin, Ireland. As a Lead BI Engineer you should be able to Understand existing products end-to-end from technology and business outcome perspectives. Provide thought leadership towards the product technology strategy. You would perform the role as data and technical specialist inside the team - especially BI (MicroStrategy).

Skills:-

  • At least 8 to 10 years of experience as a BI Engineer
  • Should have strong BI skills, with a very good experience in end-to-end implementation using MicroStrategy.
  • Having good experience with tools like Tableau, QlikSense & other BI products.
  • Should have a very experience and knowledge in Python, R, Java or equivalent coding languages (Angular), UI/UX, Data Science and MicroStrategy
  • Should demonstrate having an Up-to-date on technology and industry trends.
  • Should have advanced knowledge of SQL
  • Have good experience and enjoys the thrill of a good spreadsheet
  • Having an Experience in Solution design
  • Experience with issue tracking software solutions (eg Jira, Azure DevOps)
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to other team members and develop guidelines, standards and checklists
  • Should be comfortable with VUCA environments (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity & Ambiguity)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships and working relations in a multi-cultural environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Having Strong experience in agile ways of working.
