QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering or Equivalent Courses
• Proven five (5) years experience as a BIM Specialist or similar role, with a focus on automation, computational design and scripting.
• Proficiency in BIM authoring tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.
• Fluency and proven background in visual programming using Dynamo, Grasshopper and Rhino and Revit API.
• Strong programming skills in languages like Python, C#, or similar for scripting and automation.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to clearly and intelligently articulate complex tools and solutions to non-technical clients

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

• To develop and implement automated tools and workflows within the BIM authoring tool platforms.
• To support the development of workflows and processes in regards to software limitations and interoperability using automation.
• To conduct reviews and audits to identify opportunities for automation and workflow/process improvement.
• To lead and support the R&D for the development of tools.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Design, develop, and implement automated scripts, tools, and workflows using BIM software (e.g., Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD) and programming languages (e.g., Python, Dynamo).
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements and identify opportunities for automation.
• Customize and extend BIM software functionalities through API integration and scripting to streamline design, modeling, and documentation processes.
• Conduct testing and debugging of automation tools to ensure reliability, usability, and adherence to project and company standards.
• Assist in creating of BD/Marketing material to support the growth of the automation and computational design practice
• Provide training and support to team members on utilizing automated tools and workflows effectively.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in BIM automation and propose innovative solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
