DESCRIPTION & QUALIFICATIONS
Description
The Lead Business Application Analyst will work directly with the customer serving as a subject matter expert, taking the lead on projects and providing best practice recommendations for the customer. This team member will also be the liaison between the customer and UKG helping translate business requirements and find solutions within the UKG Pro product. Additionally, this team member will serve as a mentor and lead of the MS HRIS team helping with escalated issues and complex expressions, calculations, imports/exports and SQL queries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serves as a lead to the HRIS team, mentoring the team and assisting the manager in elevated tasks
- Serves as the subject matter expert for HRIS to the customer, helping to assess business issues, creating and maintaining interfaces, providing knowledge on system administration responsibilities including security, workflow and system configuration
- Works as the liaison between internal UKG teams and the customer to ensure projects and new items introduced in the system are well thought out and implemented in the best way possible for both parties
- Keeps track of all open SRs for the customer and monitors the status throughout the different stages of the SR
- Work with internal payroll and tax teams as well as the client, helping drive long term strategic direction and process improvements while providing guidance on features, functionality and necessary enhancements to the system
- Review and analyze customer information; transform information into specifications to be used for business development
- Engage and work with the client and internal teams to ensure they are informed of all relevant changes to the system and to coordinate activities or projects as necessary
- Work directly with internal and external customers to help troubleshoot issues
- Escalate non-routine inquiries and issues accordingly
- Create complex reports using Cognos Business Intelligence
- Provide client with best practice recommendations and guidance
- Lead video meetings/calls with customers and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience implementing, consulting, and/or maintaining the UKG Pro platform (Back Office and Web)
- Proficient with spreadsheets and formulas such as Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
- SQL experience (read and write capability)
- Ability to work 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST shift
