Description:
Pay Range: $110,800 - $132,900 annually

JOB SUMMARY
The Lead Business Development Partner will be responsible for formulating and executing an appropriate strategy for new business/product opportunities aligning with overall corporate strategy through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
This role will be responsible for formulating/executing new market expansion and business strategies for new products/business opportunity and will be an integral part of the company’s strategic plan, creating strategic partnerships and strategic incubation projects, and using analytical skills and creativity to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and develop new business opportunities.
This role will identify the insights of customers and integrate them into the pipeline of products/business development along with members of the R&D Department and will also coordinate with Marketing and R&D.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Business or the equivalent level of professional experience
- 7 years of experience in the areas of Product Development, Business Development, Sales, Product Support
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Strong creative and analytical abilities
- Strong track record of delivering high quality, breakthrough products
- Attention to detail, good follow-through, and consistent professional ethics
- Strong collaboration skills with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Proven understanding of business development/planning process involved in strategic planning, industry market research, and financial management.
- Demonstrate a high level of leadership ability and proven ability to work and communicate effectively across functional teams and organizations of diverse opinions, positions, and backgrounds
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and time management skills
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with a manufacturer of heavy-duty commercial vehicles (semi-trucks, truck bodies, trailers)
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- UP to 10%

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Collaboration with internal and external stake holders on new business/product development projects
- Assess competitive markets by researching transportation trends, monitoring data, and pulling relevant reports to support management strategic decisions
- Formulate an effective business plans and launch strategies, including value propositioning, launch tools, marketing materials, and sales plans
- Identify and resolve emerging issues that may impact projects, the department, or regional goals
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for potential threats to project success for senior management
- Own and manage strategic relationships with key partners
- Facilitate and lead collaborative meetings between internal stakeholders and outside business partners
- Monitor performances of new product launches
- Other duties as assigned
