Responsibilities:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to join the BSIRRM team. Individual’s primary role will be as Level 1 product owner for BSIRRM deliverables in a multi-year business and technology initiative to streamline business processes like balance sheet forecasting, BCBS239 reporting and resolution planning. They will have prior experience with Balance Sheet Management and partner with BSIRRM subject matter experts and technology peers to define and implement technology initiative for the department.
Treasury at Wells Fargo is a dynamic team that is responsible for managing Wells Fargo’s balance sheet including capital, liquidity, funding, and interest rate risk management. Treasury seeks to ensure Wells Fargo always maintains sufficient capital and liquidity resources to support growth in the Company’s businesses, while also ensuring a satisfactory financial cushion exists to protect against unforeseen stresses in the economic environment or the Company’s operations. Treasury also provides regulators, senior leaders, and the Board of Directors with key information to support risk management, financial performance management, and strategic planning.
Balance Sheet and Interest Rate Risk (BSIRRM) Group performs quantitative analysis of the balance sheet behavior and has primary responsibility to measure interest rate risk (IRR) and design corresponding risk mitigation strategies. Team members oversee the IRR simulation models, provide management with insight concerning changes that they see in the risk profile, and contribute to the generation of risk management strategies.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute BSIRRM technology initiatives
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of BSIRRM’s functions, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the BSIRRM team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced staff within BSIRRM
