About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to join our Financial Crimes Operations Product and Transformation Team. This role will drive project teams against key goals, whilst escalating key risks and challenging decisions. Collaborate with peers on how different workstreams tie together, common themes and problems, how roadmaps come together, different inter-dependencies. Understand business objectives, detail out business and functional capabilities, develop business requirements that align with the business objectives, partner with technology and testing to ensure development is happening as per requirements.

In this role, you will:

  • The Business Execution Team Member will focus on executing a variety of strategic initiatives that optimize and transform business processes, lead change management efforts, and provide ongoing support for Financial Crimes Operations Transformation teams.
  • Lead initiatives managing all activities in a project/initiative life cycle such as initiation, planning, executing, and post-implementation monitoring associated with work efforts that may be long-term and cross functional with broad impact, scope, and complexity.
  • Ensure full understanding of initiative impacts and care for throughout the planning and execution of the change.
  • Demonstrate understanding of change management methodologies and required documentation to meet deliverables.
  • Exercise independent judgment to guide resolution of issues and ensure tasks are completed according to established timelines.
  • Present recommendations for setting, tracking, and managing project/initiative deliverables and develop business related tasks for planning and tracking.
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with stakeholders, project leads, mid-level to senior managers, sponsors, and business partners to clarify and define project requirements and achieve goals.
  • Partner with Scrum teams, Product Owners, stakeholder, and business leaders to effectively achieve business goals
  • Lead team meetings or steering committee to facilitate decision making and support implementation of recommendations and plans.
  • Create and execute communications strategies and plans that drive business priorities
  • Track and measure results to ensure they are in line with intended outcomes and business objectives
  • Influence, guide, and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years proven Project Leadership experience in leading large complex cross functional initiatives with broad horizontal impact.
  • 5+ years of Product Management, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Experience in the analysis, development, and implementation of large-scale multi-faceted business solutions.
  • Experience independently leading projects against tight deadlines.
  • Experience with risk-based project oversight and governance.
  • Experience managing product delivery initiatives in an Agile environment.
  • Experience supporting strategic planning and execution against a multi-year roadmap
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity with an entrepreneurial mindset, create shared vision, inspire collaboration, and drive change with momentum
  • Demonstrated experience creating and managing roadmaps, strategies, and products ranging from concepts in ideation through to market delivery
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively in a highly matrixed and complex environment, creating strong professional partnerships
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Project) skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Hybrid role - 3 days in the office, 2 remote
