Description:
INS (Industrial Products and Services) with 6 Sub-Categories present in 6 hubs ensures proximity to the plant and captures full benefit of our size. This Procurement organization is centrally led and managed per categories to develop expertise, consolidate the needs and follow-up the execution of contracts.
Key Responsibilities :
- Handle the IT & Telco procurement process in coordination with the Project Manager and team (technical lead, etc.), from early definition of the purchasing strategy until completion of contract execution, and notably:
- Select appropriate vendors for the tendering process
- Handle the tendering process in order to ensure the selection of the best offer in terms of quality, availability and TCO aspects
- Deploy purchasing productivity tools
- Ensure the respect of procurement process timeline
- Lead the negotiations for optimized contract with maximized purchasing performance
- Design the contract aligned with ArcelorMittal general conditions or similar guidelines
- Obtain approval of the negotiation results as per ArcelorMittal governance
- Apply AMP Quality Management Policy and objectives in the area of responsibility
- Perform cost analysis, benchmarks, check synergies and bundling opportunities
- Contract Management full cycle
- Manage a team of Buyers/Senior Buyers (1-2 direct reports)
- Coordinate and work with BCoE to realize the contract and PO’s
- Develop long term supplier relationships through regular performance reviews and continually drive cost improvement
- The position requires a strong ability to interact with individuals from different professional background, nationalities, and cultural background within and outside of ArcelorMittal.
- Develop & maintain global strategy and roadmap for the category
- Advise users/technical team/management on possible synergies, leverages, opportunities & risks for the assigned category
- Build detailed execution plans for 12-24 months horizons on major projects/renewals
- Update activity list and status on day-today basis
Competency :
Master negotiator; superior stakeholder management skills
Well-versed with big software vendor (Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, SalesForce,… dealing structure, licensing structure, administrative processes,…..
Experience in managing, reviewing and optimizing hyper-scaler accounts (Azure, AWS, GCP, OC,….)
Familiarity with cyber-security software space (DT, Sentinel,….)
Some working experience with startup/Niche player like Monday.com etc
Concrete understanding of IT/OT domain is an advantage
You have problem-solving, analytical skills and good ease facing numbers.
You have a good technical knowledge of contracts and targeted systems but also in project management and negotiation.
You can discuss technical topics and implement and manage the change. You demonstrate leadership and communication skills. You have an appetite for finding information about innovative industry.
Result and Customer oriented, you can work under deadline pressure.
Knowledge of quality management norms (ISO 9001…) would be a plus.
Language : Fluent in English. Any additional European language is a plus.
Qualification : Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent
Experiences : Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement
