Viridor is at the forefront of waste management and resource recovery in the UK, operating the largest network of Energy Recovery Facilities (ERFs). We play a crucial role in supporting the UK’s climate goals by diverting waste from landfills and transforming it into valuable energy resources.
We have an opportunity in our Glasgow Recycling & Renewable Energy Centre for a Lead C&I Technician to join our team working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The salary for this role will be £60,320.00 per year, and participation in an annual bonus scheme, in addition to our great range of benefits.

The Lead C&I Technician is responsible for the day-to-day supervision, planning and delivery of maintenance activities, replacement and repair of the control and instrumentation equipment at the GRREC (Glasgow Recycling & Renewable Energy Centre) Facility. This role will also provide overall support to other disciplines as necessary using experience and skills. Assisting in the co-ordination and management of contracts and contractors as required, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment, the Lead C&I Technician will be responsible for supporting outage planning and management of site projects, whilst driving health and safety culture and ensuring the efficient running of the site
