Description:
Job Title: Lead CCIE Route Switch Architect (30-Week Full-Time Contract)
Location: Remote
Contract Duration: 30 Weeks at 40 hours per week
Required Certifications: CCIE Route Switch (CCNP & CCNA will not be considered)
Required Hands On Experience: Hands on with NDFC and its API (DCNM experience will not be considered)
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead CCIE Route Switch Architect for a 30-week full-time remote contract. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Cisco’s Network Services Orchestrator (NDFC) and its API, with real-world experience in both greenfield and brownfield environments. Proficiency in VXLAN EVPN protocols and VCP Border Gateway (BGW) solutions for multi-site deployments is essential. This candidate will lead a team of other Architects and Engineers to design and deploy Cisco Nexus based VXLAN EVPN solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Certification: Valid CCIE Route Switch certification required. CCNP & CCNA will not be considered.
- NDFC Expertise: Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with NDFC API, functionality, behavior, and best practices.
- Real-World Experience: Proven experience using NDFC for both greenfield and brownfield migrations in live environments.
- VXLAN EVPN Proficiency: Extensive experience with VXLAN EVPN protocols in large-scale deployments.
- VCP BGW Experience: Solid understanding and implementation experience of VCP BGW solutions for multi-site networks.
- Technical Skills: Strong background in network design, implementation, and optimization.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Automation Skills: Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages.
- Lead Consulting Experience: Previous experience in a Lead Consulting role delivering network solutions to clients.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
