Are you an experienced football coach with a passion for leading teams and inspiring children?
Do you thrive in planning, organising, and creating unforgettable experiences?
If so, we’d love to welcome you as a Lead Coach at Soccer Stars Academy!
In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing our classes across Dumfries & Galloway, coordinating a team of coaches, and ensuring every session is delivered to the highest standards. You’ll also have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of young Soccer Stars and their families.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • A valid UK driving licence and access to transport (required).
  • A minimum of 1 years of coaching experience (preferred).
  • Enhanced PVG check (or willingness to complete one).
  • First Aid and Safeguarding certifications (preferred, training available).
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 2 – 8 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Team Coordination:

Lead, motivate, and support a team of coaches across multiple venues, ensuring smooth and efficient class delivery.

  • Travel Across Venues:

Cover venues across Carlisle, Dumfries & Galloway, with travel as part of your weekly schedule (travel expenses covered).

  • Session Planning:

Create structured, engaging lesson plans tailored to different age groups (18 months to 12 years), ensuring developmental milestones are met.

  • Risk Assessments:

Conduct pre-session venue and equipment checks to ensure all activities are safe and secure.

  • Parent Engagement:

Be the main point of contact for parents, providing updates on their child’s progress and addressing any questions.

  • Performance Monitoring:

Evaluate sessions and provide feedback to coaches, mentoring them to ensure continuous improvement.

  • Administrative Duties:

Manage class registers, attendance, and feedback forms, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with health and safety standards.

  • Problem-Solving:

Address challenges or disruptions during sessions, demonstrating leadership and adaptability in all situations.
