Description:
Interior Health is hiring a permanent full-time Clinical Data Management Lead who is passionate about making a difference in healthcare.
Location: This position is flexible within the Interior Health Region.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field, research, economics, or business management that includes course work in evaluation design and statistical analysis.
- A minimum of five (5) years of related experience working in a healthcare environment. At least two years of experience in data management, linkage, analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Demonstrated analytical, statistical, research, and indicator development skills.
- Ability to work with health information technology, applying advanced computer skills to access and analyze all data and information related to priority areas.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Can multitask and has the ability to orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish results.
- Ability to be innovative and participate with others to reach organizational objectives.
- Ability to adapt and produce high quality results in a constantly-changing and developing environment.
- Ability to effectively explore alternatives in order to make appropriate decisions.
- Ability to apply critical thinking, planning, and coordination from a business and system wide perspective to lead system improvements/change.
- Broad knowledge of healthcare and system/service delivery models.
- Ability to effectively present and clarify requirements, and gain support for expectations, ideas, and concepts with various audiences/interested parties.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
