JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Cloud ICT Lead to join our dynamic team. The Cloud Lead will be a technical lead for our growing Cloud Services engineering team and utilising your direct engineering experience in provision of day-to-day support of our ICT Services customers & Atlas own Cloud Services Infrastructure. Candidates should be adaptable, self-motivated and able to work in a tight team structure. As a technical lead the successful candidate will have an important customer facing role, so strong interpersonal and presentation skill sets are vital to ensure excellence of service.

CANDIDATES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES

· A degree or equivalent in an ICT related area
· Current dated Microsoft 365 (administrator/systems engineering) and VMware accreditations.
· Experience of build & administration of VMware, Microsoft Server, Microsoft Exchange, Intune, Entra & SharePoint environments
· Minimum of 5 years proven experience of internal and customer facing field service, installation, configuration and maintenance of VMware, VMware clusters and Microsoft server-based solutions, Microsoft Office365 & Migrations.
· Proven experience of customer facing incident management, investigation, technical support and solution design & implementation
· Proven history of a demonstrable ability to successfully complete technical training and deploying that training in real world environments including evidence of continuing personal professional development.
· Excellent interpersonal skills: including verbal/written communication, documentation and presentation skills applicable in both internal and customer facing environment.
· Knowledge & experience of working within standards-based ICT Project Life cycle management
· Adaptability to provide solutions within a challenging environment.
· Ability to develop and maintain multidisciplinary skillsets.
· Be able to travel to provide complete work across our customer and Atlas estate in Northern Ireland.
· Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the UK
· Be able to work out of hours to support resolution of critical customer issues and carry out project work where operations must occur out of hours

Responsibilities:

· Design, Implementation, Configuration & support of Atlas VMware-based Cloud Infrastructure & Applications
· Customer facing Cloud & ICT solutions design and sales support.
· Providing Server / Desktop / Laptop infrastructure build & support as part of the team for our customers
· Managing & administering server and client-side ICT services in Windows environments for our customers and for Atlas internal infrastructure
· Installation, and support of deployed solutions.
· Supporting our sales team in specifying viable solutions for our customers
· Provision of office based and, where required, onsite technical support to our internal and external customers
· To complete all required training & career development to enable you to grow & succeed in the post
· Build strong relationships with our Telecoms & Network Services Teams to support delivery of end-to-end solutions
· To be part of the out of hours call out rota as required. Making yourself available to assist other engineers where appropriate to address major issues.
· Carry out all activities in line with our ISO 27001 & 9001 accreditations
