KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• +8 years of experience in similar roles.
• Extensive expertise with Azure cloud services.
• Strong experience with networking, security, and cloud governance.
• Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in cloud cost optimization and resource management.
• Proven ability to lead cloud transformation projects.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Lead Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on Azure. This role requires strategic planning, execution of cloud projects, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure scalable and secure cloud solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design cloud-based architectures aligned with business needs and objectives.
• Define cloud strategies and roadmaps to drive digital transformation.
• Plan and execute cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and risk.
• Optimize cloud environments for security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Collaborate with development teams to define best practices for cloud adoption.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
