YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• You will be confident working with several programming languages, tools and technologies, including Infrastructure as Code, public cloud providers, containerization with the ability to guide colleagues to the context where each is useful. We prefer GCP, Python, Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Be proficient in leading technical conversations with stakeholders of varying levels of technical background, including Senior Management and other Subject Matter Experts.
• Contribute to the architectural design of cloud platform technologies and products across our ecosystem.
• Experience in Cloud Security fundamentals (IAM, Service Accounts, Workload Identity), Cloud Networking fundamentals (VPC, VPN, Peering, Interconnect) and other Cloud Services, preferably GCP.
• Experience in working with Agile teams and ability to manage failures, risks and communication to stakeholders.

• Coaching, and growing a long-lived, cross-functional engineering team, responsible for the full software development lifecycle for significant platform capabilities, including requirements gathering, coding, testing, documentation, and operations.
• Provide guidance and expertise across the Cloud Platform teams, acting as a subject matter expert and leading best practice techniques.
• Role modelling our values and beliefs; being an ambassador for our engineering excellence and best practices.
• Accountable for continually improving efficiencies and costs of cloud platforms, through reduction of technical debt and standardization of patterns.
• Collaborate with central product management and other SMEs to align the hybrid cloud priorities.
