Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Commercial Loan Closing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educatio

Desired Qualifications:

  • Understanding of FEMA Guidelines, NFIP, FDPA Requirements and Flood regulations, and/or Property and Casualty experience
  • Experience working in CCM (Credit Bridge Collateral Management)
  • Experience working complex commercial deals
  • Experience identifying efficiency opportunities and gaps in team processes/procedures, including acting as a key participant in procedure writing strongly desired
  • Ability to be an agent for change, including experience in the development of recommendations for changes and/or risk mitigation opportunities to reduce or eliminate policy exceptions
  • Experience in partnering with multiple business lines
  • Experience in report analysis and compilation
  • Experience in managing complex pipelines
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
  • Sound analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels; where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are importan

Responsibilities:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Commercial Loan Closing Specialist in Business Operations as a part of Commercial Banking Operations Division. Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.

In this role, you will:

  • Complete pre-close and post-close documents for the most complex commercial real estate loans
  • Coordinate loan closings, perform customer, loan and regulatory diligence and on-going portfolio maintenance
  • Evaluate and upload data into the systems of record
  • Research complex business and operational decisions
  • Review and prepare loan related documents
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Provide guidance and training to peers and may have limited supervisory responsibilities
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal and external customers
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
