JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Lead Compensation Analyst, in partnership with the Region Compensation Leader, will provide partnership, execution, and communication of GE Aerospace compensation programs and policies in the assigned region. This role will liaise with HR, Total Rewards, and cross-functional partners to deliver strategic, high-quality, innovative, and efficient programs and guidelines, effectively linking policy and governance to the operational delivery throughout a geographically dispersed workforce.

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Demonstrable prior professional work experience with proven achievement and leadership in HR and/or Finance.
  • 5-8 years of Strong compensation partnership skills and experience collaborating with HR business partners, Finance and other functional and delivery teams to produce high quality results in alignment with business and HR strategy.

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Strong track record in developing and conducting projects unilaterally in all stages – planning, kick off, work coordination, proposal, implementation, and handover to local HR
  • Strong analytic aptitude, including the capacity to communicate insights drawn from data using data visualization and written conclusions. Ability to assess situations make judgments based on market practice or previous experience.
  • Deeply collaborative and innovative; views this work as a team sport and works with colleagues to continually improve. Ability to work cross-functionally to arrive at the best possible solution.
  • Excellent interpersonal, consultative and communication (oral and written) skills.
  • Agile learner who is adaptable to new technology and practices, including high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Analytical and able to transform data and trends into insights and strategies with keen attention to detail.
  • Operates with strategic, creative, and business centric focus.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and educate teams on compensation programs in the assigned region, enforcing adherence to them.
  • Analyze market compensation survey results and track competitive position, market trends and insights.
  • Provide complex market analyses, recommendations and solutions to compensation issues that arise during the year.
  • Deliver effective communication and education on compensation programs to achieve employee awareness and understanding.
  • Working with the Region Compensation Leader, ensure consistent adherence to all legal and compliance requirements in the countries we operate. This Includes working with internal legal resources and external advisors to interpret and implement complex decisions.
  • Partner closely with a cross-functional team of stakeholders including Human Resources, Total Rewards, Finance, Legal and Communications.
  • Coordinate programs through respective third-party vendors. Manage vendors and ensure quality performance and timely deliverables.
  • Contribute to broader global projects as required.
