JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
As the Lead Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support to the GE HealthCare business on a variety of legal and compliance issues and transactions, including, potential conflicts of interest, high risk payments, appropriate segregation of duties, transparency requirements for relationships with health care professionals (“HCPs”), compliance with the Anti-Kickback Statute, corporate governance matters.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-3 years’ of experience in a corporate or healthcare-related environment.
- Previous experience in prioritizing conflicting demands from multiple business clients in an extremely fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate using English and outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate with due discretion, confidentiality, objectivity and independence.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization and to facilitate risk-assessment and decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a business partner by applying combined legal and compliance judgment to proposed transactions, relationships and other issues requiring review and attention.
- Support the International Region compliance programs with specific emphasis on Improper Payment Prevention related to healthcare providers (HCPs) and other high-risk transaction types.
- Participate in review of all aspects of various compliance workflows around activities including, consulting, educational grand and donations, product consignment/demos/loaners, customer events, and more.
- Identify and escalate compliance-related procedural issues and areas of improvement. Represent International Compliance on process improvement initiatives or other projects which impact policies, processes, and procedures relevant to the International compliance team and stakeholders.
- Lead training activities for various compliance processes and initiatives largely focused on HCP interactions.
- Review proposed HCP engagement activity and provide feedback/counsel to various business stakeholders who have varying level of experience and knowledge around the subject.
- Individual contributor, with proven interpersonal skills, who can work well on a team and communicate with direct colleagues and business partners and work to a workable solution.
- Attentive to details while conducting various types of compliance reviews around contracting, Fair Market Value, scope of services, and overall adherence to internal company policies and external laws, codes or trade associations.
- Coordinate with global, regional and zone compliance leaders and product compliance leads to roll-out and implement compliance priorities.
