Inviting applications for the role of [Lead Consultant], [Control-m Administration]
The purpose of this job is to provide all aspects of Control-M administration and provide technical guidance and support to junior (L1) control-m administrators.
This position will also handle escalated incidents and perform root cause analysis of any problems that may arise out of Incident Reports (IRs) and/or proactive needs for business.

Responsibilities

  • The main responsibilities include configuration, implementation and support of complex Control-M batch streams, technical guidance of junior team members.
  • Understand business requirements and design solutions accordingly.
  • Testing of changes to the Control-M environment
  • Ensure quality standards in release.
  • Take care of incidents, escalate to CACIB or 3rd parties as necessary.
  • Perform root cause analysis for P1/P2/P3 and P4 incidents and/or proactively based on business needs.
  • Work with the right teams within Genpact, CACIB or 3rd parties for the implementation of change.
  • Follow the required policies and procedures for the incident, problem and change management.
  • Ensure service performance expectations are met with service levels and quality.
  • Raise/escalate any service-related issues and risks to Genpact Track lead and/or CACIB Track Lead

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate or postgraduate in Technology with Computers or Information Technology (IT) stream.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Knowledgeable about the Control-M architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Control-M v9.19 and V9.20installation, configuration and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Has worked on multiple CONTROL-M(CM) releases.
  • Has worked on a CONTROL-M(CM) migration.
  • Should be familiar with basics of Linux OS.
  • Thoroughly understands the following CONTROL-M(CM) topics.

o CONTROL-M(CM) Agent/ADVANCED FILE TRANSFER(AFT)/ Managed File Transfer (MFT) installs.
 Windows 2012/2016
 UNIX – Solaris/Linux – all current releases
o CONTROL-M(CM) Agent parameters.
o CONTROL-M(CM) Configuration Manager
o CONTROL-M(CM) Calendar creation/updates.
o Folder creation/updates

o Knowledge of how to start and stop CONTROL-M(CM) components at the server level in UNIX environment.

  • Has worked with BMC support on Level 4 issues.
  • Must have good trouble shooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • High energy, results driven person with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Capital Markets Domain knowledge is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), integration across IPC (Incident, Problem & Change Management)
  • Knowledge about other products like CFT, Connect Direct, MQ Series and NetBackup is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Capability to coordinate and execute projects assigned. Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting.
