Description:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Lead/Senior Consultant to spearhead the eCommerce strategy and growth initiatives for some of our most prestigious clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the digital commerce landscape and have a proven track record in leading the strategy on complex, high-impact eCommerce projects that deliver measurable business results.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in eCommerce consulting, with a focus on strategy and growth. Experience with high-profile clients and complex digital transformations is highly desirable.
  • Domain Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of eCommerce platforms, digital marketing, data analytics and AI, and customer experience optimisation.
  • Client-Centric: Strong client management skills with a proven ability to build trust and long-term relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to leverage data and analytics to inform strategic decisions and demonstrate the ROI of digital initiatives.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing and mentoring teams. Ability to inspire and drive cross-functional teams towards a common goal.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and strategies clearly and effectively.
  • Industry Insight: Awareness of the latest trends and innovations in eCommerce and digital marketing, with a proactive approach to continuous learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive eCommerce strategies for clients, aligning digital initiatives with overall business objectives to drive growth and innovation.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for key clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders. Understand their business needs, challenges, and goals to deliver tailored strategic solutions.
  • Consultative Expertise: Provide expert advice on best practices in eCommerce, including digital marketing, user experience, platform selection, data analytics, and conversion optimization. Ensure clients are leveraging the latest technologies and trends to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Oversight & Direction: Oversee Solution Consultants, PIM Consultants, UX/UI Designers, and Insights Teams in the delivery of eCommerce projects. Ensure outputs inspire, engage and provide clear direction to clients and internal teams alike. Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers, developers, and designers, to ensure seamless execution.
  • Performance Analysis: Utilise data-driven insights to measure the success of digital initiatives. Continuously refine strategies to improve KPIs such as conversion rates, customer retention, and revenue growth.
  • Innovation & Growth: Identify new opportunities for growth and innovation within the client’s digital landscape. Propose and implement solutions that enhance customer engagement, streamline operations, and increase profitability.
  • Team Mentorship: Mentor and develop junior consultants and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence within the consulting team.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent Vaimo as a thought leader in the eCommerce space by participating in industry events, contributing to publications, and sharing insights with the broader digital commerce community.
