This position provides consulting services by working directly with the customer to identify and recommend solutions that solve the customers strategic business goals.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate, confer and provides consulting services and manages project activities from client identification through final invoicing.
  • Works on billable consulting service projects.
  • Demonstrates broad product knowledge with the customer within a specific discipline. Works independently on highly complex projects , or may work in a team as assigned by the project leader.
  • Technical responsibilities will include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and deployment.
  • Leads all technical aspects of delivery, customer satisfaction, and accurate timekeeping for billing purposes, on projects where the Consultant is the only technical resource or lead technical resource.
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge of principles, theories and concepts in applicable discipline, plus high level of working knowledge in other related fields.
  • May assist less experienced peers when needed. Work is performed under minimal direction.
  • Duties directly related to making sales includes: Meeting with customers and engaging in sales activities at the customers site; communicating with customers via phone, teleconference, e-mail, etc. related to proposed solutions/sales, etc.; traveling to and from the customers premise for the purpose of engaging in sales activities; providing subject matter expertise regarding technical issues relating to sales; advising customers on suitability of products based on technical needs; preparing proposals, presentations, or bids, including developing pricing, developing strategic plans related to the customer and the proposed solutions/sales; researching and developing customer solutions with AT&T external partners, including design and engineering; and researching customer business and industry to identify new sales opportunities.

EDUCATION:

  • Requires a Bachelors degree.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Requires five to eight years of direct work experience.
