DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW
Currently we are looking for a new team member: “Lead Coordinator Artwork” for our office Ghent (full time and permanent contract).
In this amazing role you will coordinate the packaging artwork changes and launches for the Perrigo CSCI (Consumer Self-Care International) top-20 brands including XLS, Dermalex, Coldrex, Niquitin, Physiomer…
You will manage packaging artwork workflow between central and regional marketing, central and regional regulatory and the production facilities within an international environment.
As well you will coordinate and control the artwork Launch and change processes while maintaining database with up-to-date (master) artwork to ensure compliant artwork can be marketed.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience ideally in area of packaging artwork coordination
- Min. 3-5 yrs of working experience
- Strong Project Management and Time Management skills with ability to prioritize accordingly to the demands of the business
- Good communicative and administration skills and have strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to plan and effectively organise comes naturally. Work systematically, keep an overview and able to keep your cool working on various projects with tight deadlines
- Ability to work proactive, independently with a great team spirit
- Having a sharp eye for details
- Knowledge of the print processes and technologies is a plus
- Having a graphic design background and knowledge of Adobe CS software is an advantage, but not a requirement
Responsibilities:
- From the final master (lay-out + text), coordinate local text translations and initiate development of country specific or cluster artwork. Organize approval procedure with the countries. Codification, validation of the final design with printers (print proof) and validation of the master text translations with the Marketing and Regulatory Affairs departments.
- Create and manage artwork briefings for artwork agencies based on final master design or existing design and approved text, to develop compliant packaging materials.
- Efficiently review artworks on text, images and technical specifications.
- Maintain daily contact with design agencies, product suppliers and internal departments to ensure the quality of the packaging design & printing.
- Assign appropriate numbering (barcode – pack code) and validate.
- Implement artworks adaptations and manage the approval process across multiple countries, in close contact with the Supply, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing departments and Manufacturers to ensure packaging artwork are approved in compliance with the processes.
- Strive for maximum creation of language clusters in order to generate cost saving opportunities.
- Act in accordance with the governing quality standards and legislative rules. Comply to the company’s policies.
