Job Description
This role will be based out of Singapore or Indonesia maintaining work within the Southeast Asia region.

To be successful in a Lead Cost Estimator role, you will have an understanding in:

  • Support the cost estimating service across the region, with the view of taking on the Lead/PM role on future projects
  • Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.
  • Manage the development of cost estimates from drawings and specifications.
  • Creating new client and consultant relationships and opportunities in the market place.
  • Conduct estimate assurance reviews and associate report writing.
  • Take responsibility for your own deliverables and ensure all commitments are completed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A recognised Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Engineering or similar
  • More than 15 years of experience within oil and gas will be preferred, offshore wind experience will be a bonus
  • Track record of engaging and influencing clients at a senior level.
  • Ability to produce resource based estimates, top down cost plans or parametric cost models
  • Demonstrable reputation for challenge, innovation and continued improvement.
  • Have a passion for mentoring the team and future generations.
  • Extensive experience in producing cost estimates (AACE Class 2, 3, 4 and 5) and cost benchmarking for major CAPEX investments US$ 1B+ across the oil and gas, mining and clean energy sectors.
  • Excellent written and spoken English. Mandarin and Bahasa an advantage.
  • Good presentation and management skills.
