Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Credit Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educatio
Desired Qualifications:
- 3+ years of strong programing skills in Python/SAS/SQL with hands on experience handling large datasets
- 3+ year of statistical analysis and good understanding of Machine Learning techniques
- Experience in managing originations/account management decision engine strategies
- Lead complex initiatives impacting credit strategies across the customer lifecycle from acquisitions to collections
- Good understanding on P&L drivers for credit card/other unsecured lending products
- Knowledge and understanding of databases and data mining techniques
- Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skill
Responsibilities:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Credit Risk Officer.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross-functional with broad impact and act as key participant in driving the company credit culture, desire, and business performance for Credit Risk
- Review and analyze complex strategies, programs and policies with a direct and significant impact on credit risk appetite and culture
- Receive direction from leaders
- Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal and external customers
- Collaborate with business for oversight of risk management
- Interact with Audit, Legal, external agencies, and regulatory bodies on risk related topics

Job Expectations:
- Ability to work at one of the approved locations in the job posting
- Willingness to comply with our hybrid work model; working from a Wells Fargo facility at least three days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely two days a week.
