Responsibilities:
The Cyber Security Lead Application Engineer is an individual contributor who works closely with developers to help improve the security of their products and services, as well as implementing technical solutions to address security weaknesses, and working with relevant stakeholders to implement them. The Cyber Security Application Engineer is responsible for systems, applications, and data. They will ensure that the applications are implemented with high standards and are secure.
- Lead efforts to secure code, including code reviews, project security reviews, pen testing support, and application scanning throughout the stages of SDLC.
- Support the engineering security team to help ensure that all security platforms are designed and implemented with best practices in mind.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Dev, Product, IT) while carrying out daily tasks.
- Work closely with developers to help improve the security of their products and services, as well as implementing technical solutions to address security weaknesses, and working with relevant stakeholders to implement them.
- Manage integration with vulnerability check tools such as Static Code Analysis and Dynamic Code Analysis tools.
- Work together with cross Business Unit teams on executing agreed upon standardized security solutions and integrations.
