WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING…
As our new Lead Data and Analytics Engineer, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary, agile, data delivery team focused on the delivery of innovative, robust, and efficient data solutions to complex business problems. You’ll work alongside a team of passionate data professionals including other data and analytics engineers, test engineers, data scientists and data visualisation specialists.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Working alongside our solution and data architects, you’ll be responsible for delivery of complex data and analytics solutions including the ingest of data from a wide variety of data sources into our analytics platforms (typically cloud-based but some work on our on-premise data analytics platforms) and the production of a range of data and analytics products including our data warehouse, analytical data sets and visualisations (supported by our central visualisation team).
- You’ll manage several Senior, Mid and Junior Level Data and Analytics Engineers an get involved with the recruitment and ongoing development of the team.
- You’ll design and lead modelling, transformation and cleansing of data into our enterprise data warehouse for consumption by both technical users such as our data science and data visualisation teams and non-technical business users.
- You’ll drive a data-first culture both within the data team and across the business by supporting continual learning and development within your team and data enablement activity across the wider business.
- You will demonstrate a passion for data and encourage a similar passion within your team. As part of a data-first culture you may also be involved in supporting production data assets.
